October 'Patterns' free monthly photo comp: the results!

Comments Comments

Congratulations to Alan Coligado who has won our October ‘Patterns’ photo competition with the image Hot Seats, as judged by our guest judge, photographer Darran Leal.

Sharing his thoughts on Alan’s winning entry, Darran said, “This striking image represents the target competition outline so well - Pattern.”

He then went on to say, “It has been visualised and then approached by the photographer at an angle that best shows what the term ‘pattern’ means. The lighting was not easy being low light, so care was taken to achieve a sharp result and the correct aperture was applied for optimum depth of field. This image would also look great as a B&W. Well done to the winner for achieving such a visually pleasing image.”

As winner, Alan will take home an awesome Film Supplies Online Prize pack valued at $200, thanks to our amazing sponsors Film Supplies.
