A new exhibition, Reflections | COVID-19, opened last weekend in Western Australia's Contemporary Art Spaces Mandurah (CASM) and will be on show until Sunday 27 September.

In response to the challenges posed by the unfolding pandemic, many public programs have had to be remodelled and reshaped this year. As part of this response, CASM and the Mandurah Community Museum invited local artists to create works that illustrate their reflections of this time for them.

Winner of the APS Mullins contemporary Photography prize, photographer Louise Alexander, is set to take part in the Reflections exhibition, where she will have her ‘Paradigm of the Butterfly’ series on display. She has shared a sneak preview of the works with us to give a taste of what the exhibition has to offer.

In combination with the visual works, there will also be a series of weekend artist talks, which will take place at 11am and at 2pm each Sunday throughout September. You can find out more about these talks on the CASM Facebook page, and you can book to attend the talks by contacting casm@mandurah.wa.gov.au.

The gallery opening hours are Wednesday to Sunday, 10am - 4pm.
