Wildlife photographer Will Burrard–Lucas and his writer and wife Natalie have produced a new book which outlines the best spots in the world to capture amazing images of nature.

After spending much of his life visiting all corners of the earth, top nature photographer and intrepid traveller Will Burrard-Lucas has published a new book which contains some of his best images.

The hardcover book Top Wildlife Sites of the World is designed to inspire wildlife enthusiasts and photographers to visit more than 30 sites which are covered. Each section of the book has a locator map, beautiful photographs, a fact file and an evocative account of what it’s like to visit, written by Burrard-Lucas’s wife and travel companion Natalie.

The destinations range from Tasmania to Svalbard and from the Okavango Delta to Alaska. Will Burrard-Lucas says, “The natural world never fails to amaze me, with its beauty, ingenuity and magnificence. Over a million wildebeest migrating cross the plains of the Serengeti in pursuit of rain, male Emperor Penguins huddle together for two months without food during the Antarctic winter to incubate their eggs, or hundreds of macaws gather to eat clay on the banks of a river in Peru to neutralise the toxins in their diet.

These are just some of the awe-inspiring phenomena that are taking place out there in the world we live in. The biological diversity that surrounds us on Earth is undoubtedly the greatest treasure that we have.” Will Burrard-Lucas Will Burrard-Lucas is a professional wildlife photographer from the United Kingdom. His fascination with wildlife began in childhood when he spent some years living in Africa.

On a quest for the perfect image, he designs clever gadgets and gizmos to help him achieve fresh perspectives. Will’s wife, Natalia Burrard-Lucas, is a doctor and also a keen writer.

Published by New Holland Publishers, the hardback volume Top Wildlife Sites of the World has just been released and is available in all major bookstores for $35.
