My RØDE REEL International Short Film competition: Winners announced

Comments Comments

In this year's roundup of winners, two Australians have taken home top prizes. Amelia Farmer has taken home first place in the Comedy category for her short film The Starey Bampire, and Myles Conti's film Social Distance has won third prize in the same category.

With a $1 million cash prize pool, as well as camera gear and other filmmaking prizes up for grabs, entries flooded in from over 100 countries around the globe. This year’s competition saw entries triple in comparison to the competition’s 2019 numbers.

Entrants had to submit a 3-minute short film and a behind-the-scenes film that showcases a RØDE product being used. Aside from these requirements, each prize category was open to interpretation.
