The Impossible Project has announced the production of a new camera bag for SX70 folding type original Polaroid cameras.
The newly designed camera bag has been produced in collaboration with Swedish design company Unit Portables.
The multi-purpose bag has been designed to fit the 680, SX-70 and SX-70 Sonar original Polaroid folding cameras. A moulded foam interior and adjustable inner strap ensures the camera is secured and protected, whilst the adjustable outer strap offers users different options for comfort and portability.
A small, removable pouch sits on the side of the bag, offering a place to hold photos and one pack of film. The pouch is also lined - enabling users to keep their developing photos protected from light and cold temperatures.
Unit Portables explains: "When we got the request about potential cooperation we instantly got excited. We had heard about Impossible and found it cool, plus felt that both our brands and product offerings went hand in hand; classic and functional but with a contemporary touch; something we tried to keep in mind during the design process.
The case should naturally support the bellowed camera and related accessories, yet also deliver a clean/stylish look. Perfect for the modern photographer.”
Available from November, the bag can be purchased via The Impossible Project’s website and selected retailers.
