The KLYP+ by Manfrotto allows iPhone 5 and 5S users to connect their phones to a range of accessories including tripods, LED lights, lens adapters and more.
The basic kit acts as a protective bumper and a connection system, keeping the iPhone safe from damage and allowing the user to attach the LED light and tripod mount. The bumper is made from solid polycarbonate, with thermoplastic polyurethane outer edges.
Available in black, white, red and pink; it also comes with a wrist strap and kick stand — providing basic support and the ability to connect with any tripod.
The KLYP+ comes with a set of three interchangeable lenses: portrait, landscape and fisheye. These lenses are crafted from solid aluminium and are fitted with thick, high-clarity glass. They can be attached to the bumper by screwing them on at the dedicated lens thread mount.
The Manfrotto LED light casts a 60 degree beam angle and a luminance of 225 lumens for bright images in low-light conditions. The LEDs have a colour rendering index of over 80 percent, ensuring strong colours and natural skin tone.
The LED light comes with a built-in quarter inch thread tripod mount at the bottom, offering a point of attachment to any tripod. It is designed to connect both to the light and to the four locking points positioned on the bumper via an intuitive sliding system.
The KLYPapp+ is a complete post production app. It allows users to set focus and exposure manually, and apply filters, frames or watermarks to any picture or video. It also features a noise activated shutter release for hands-free pictures. Time lapse and stop motion effects are also included to enhance video recording.
