Lowepro has added a new compact lens bag to its modular Street and Field system. The 100AW Lens Exchange Case is designed to fit shorter lenses compared to the original and larger 200AW.
The 100AW lets users change a lens with one hand and is aimed at street, sport and event photographers who shoot with multiple lenses and need to change lenses quickly. The bag's lens-exchange feature temporarily holds and separates two lenses as you detach the working lens and grab the second, avoiding the need to hold lenses between knees or pressed between the arm and body.
The case can be worn three different ways: with a belt from the S and F Series; with the photographer’s own belt; or with the adjustable shoulder strap (included with case). It includes two mesh side pockets to stash lens or body caps and flash cards.
It can hold a standard Nikon or Canon zoom with room for a second lens such as a Nikon 14-24mm f2.8, Nikon 24-70mm f2.8, Canon 16-35mm f2.8 or a Canon 24-70mm f2.8. It's available in black and retails for $55.
