Lexar has unveiled a new lineup of high capacity CF cards and USB 3.0 flash drives.
The company’s Professional 800x CF card is now available with a capacity of 512GB, with read transfer speeds up to 120MB per second and write speeds up to 75MB per second. The high-performance card, which is also available in a 256GB version, is aimed at photographers who shoot high-resolution RAW files and videographers who shoot 1080p full-HD, 3D, and 4K video.

The company has also announced increased capacities to its range of JumpDrive USB 3.0 flash drives, adding a 128GB option to the Lexar JumpDrive P10, JumpDrive S33, and JumpDrive S23, along with a 256GB option to the JumpDrive S73 USB 3.0 flash drive. The increased capacities paired with the performance of USB 3.0 technology make these drives a convenient solution for transporting or archiving of all types of files.

In news closer to home, Maxwell International, an Australia-wide photo distributor, has been appointed to distribute Lexar memory cards, card readers, and high-performance USB 3.0 flash drives.
