To connect the LaCie CloudBox users simply plug the device into a power outlet and connect an Ethernet cable into a router. The LaCie CloudBox shows up a few minutes later on users' Mac or PC just like a connected device. ?The Cloudbox features UPnP capability so movies, music and photos can be streamed to an Xbox 360, iPad, or any network-connected computer or TV.
You can also set up a secure download link so selected users outside the network can access files remotely from any network-connected smart phone, tablet or computer.
