Lowepro has upgraded its popular Slingshot line of camera bags, launching the Transit AW series.
The newly designed bags offer multiple configuration options including a fast-opening zippered side opening, which rotates from back to front. The series also incorporates an 'UltraFlex fit system' which includes a central flex divider with secure padding and multiple ways to organise and protect equipment including a laptop, tablet or other gear.
The Transit AW series features practical compartments such as a 'Hideaway Tripod Mount', which helps secure a compact tripod to the side, a front stash pocket with key fob, a stow-away stabilising waist strap to help distribute bag weight, and a padded, mesh-covered backpad. The series includes the patented, built-in All Weather AW Cover, offering bag and camera gear protection from the elements.
Lowepro's Transit AW series includes the Transit Backpack 350 AW which weighs 1.1kg ($159) and the Transit Sling 250 AW which weighs 0.8kg ($129).
