Head On Photo Festival 2023 opens for submissions

Sydney's Head On Photo Festival is seeking exhibition applications for its 2023 edition.

A staple of the Australian photographic event calendar for more than a decade, the 2023 Head On Photo Festival will be a mix of online and in-person exhibitions and events across Sydney from mid-November till early December.

Exhibited across the city will be a selection of diverse and engaging, high-quality work across still photography, multi-media and video art.

Individual artists, curators, groups and exhibition spaces/galleries, Australian and international, are all invited to apply to exhibit.

The Festival ensures all proposals received by Head On are selected without the artists’ names or pedigrees. This ensures that all photographs selected are chosen on merit alone.
