Organisers of the Head On Photo Festival, have announced that the festival will return to Sydney from 17 May to 23 June 2013, and are calling on photo artists and venues to apply to be part of the festival.
This year's event was held at 114 venues across Sydney and included over 230 exhibitions from more than 1190 exhibiting photographers.
New in 2013, Head On is offering five partially subsidised exhibition grants at a prominent Sydney exhibition space for the duration of the festival. The subsidy includes discount on printing, mounting and hanging costs, and free marketing and publicity for each successful applicant.
Applicants for the grant and inclusion in the Head On exhibition must apply by 31 October. Application forms are available at headon.com.au. Venues wanting to take part must submit an application by 31 December 2012.
