Finalists of the APS' Mullins Conceptual Photography Prize announced
The finalists of the Australian Photographic Society's Mullins Conceptual Photography Prize (MACPP) have been announced.
Now in its third year, The MACPP is an acquisitive prize that seeks to find Australia's best conceptual photographs. Entries in the Award must be a still work that has been substantially produced by photographic means, and it is open to analogue and digital photography, collage and mixed media.
The overall winner of the competition will take home a cash prize of $8,000. Then, of the APS members who enter, the best entry will be awarded $2,000 in cash. It's also possible that the same person may win both of these awards, meaning the winning entrant would be awarded $10,000 cash.
The MCPP winner and the best entry by an Australian Photographic Society Member will be announced on Saturday 3 July 2021 at the opening of the exhibition of the finalists’ prints at Muswellbrook Regional Arts Centre (MRAC).
