Canada-based photo retailer The Camera Store has "gone viral" thanks to a short video clip created by and starring store staff.
At last count "Battle At F-Stop Ridge" had amassed over 920,000 views on YouTube and was fast approaching the magic one-million mark.
Conceived, filmed and edited by The Camera Store's in-house video specialist Jordan Drake, the one-minute clip was shot with a Canon EOS 5D Mark II, outfitted with Zeiss ZE 35 and 100mm lenses. A second camera, a JVC HM700 was used for slow motion scenes and to capture camera flash sequences. The film was edited on Final Cut Pro.
"Battle At F-Stop Ridge started as a fun way for me to try some new filming techniques and have fun filming with my co-workers and it wound up becoming something much more than I could have ever expected," wrote Drake in a recent blog.
