The World Photography Organisation and ZEISS have announced the brief and call for entries for the 2020 ZEISS Photography Award.

The award is a free international photography competition that challenges artists to submit bodies of work responding to a selected theme. For 2020, the theme is “Seeing Beyond - Discoveries”. Photographers must enter five to ten images to enter.

The winner of the award will receive a range of ZEISS camera lenses of their choice worth a total of €12,000, €3,000 to cover travel costs for a photo project, flights and accommodation to attend the Sony World Photography Awards night and the exhibition opening in London in April 2020, a behind-the-scenes tour of the Zeiss factory in German and the chance to collaborate directly with ZEISS and the World Photography Organisation for future projects.

More than 55,000 images from 150 countries were submitted in the 2019 edition of the competition.
