Australasia's Top Emerging Photographers opens for entry

The call for entries for Australasia's Top Emerging Photographers 2023, presented by Fujifilm, is now open.

Now in its 15th year, and run by our sister title Capture, the competition has uncovered and helped boost the careers of numerous emerging photographers in Australia and New Zealand.

In 2023, photographers will compete in a prize pool valued at over $24,000 in cash and prizes.

The overall winner, Australasia's Top Emerging Photographer 2023, will receive a Fujifilm X-H2S with Fujifilm XF 16-80mm f/4 OIS WR lens valued at $5,998 from our major sponsor, Fujifilm.

The competition's overall runner-up will receive a Fujifilm X-S10 with Fujifilm XC15-45mm zoom lens valued at $1,899, also from Fujifilm. Additionally, each of the nine category winners will take home $1,000 cash, along with prizes from the category sponsor. A full list of all the prizes up for grabs can be seen here

As in previous years, the competition will be judged by an impressive panel comprising of some of the most respected professional photographers from Australia, and around the globe. In 2022, the judging panel featured 47 judges, which included some of the world's best photographers, along with respected industry leaders.
