Congratulations to Benjamin Fraser, who has won our free monthly photo comp for May with his image Wineglass Sunrise.

"This is an image where it all comes together," says AP's Mike O'Connor.

"You have an iconic location, fantastic light, and a great composition that leads the viewer through the frame. The editing is subtle, and emphasises the natural beauty of the spot. But what I like most about the shot is it gives a feeling of wonder and awe at the great outdoors, and the beautiful places waiting to be explored."

Benjamin takes home a 12-month print subscription to either Australian Photography or Capture magazine for winning the judge's choice.

We also chose two special mentions, awarded for images that really impressed.
