AP's free monthly photo comp August '25 - 'Seasons' The winners!

Congratulations to Jessie Leung, and her image Autumn Oberon which has won AP's free monthly photo competition for August.

This month, the competition was judged by the brilliant Drew Hopper. 

Jessie has captured the essence of autumn so beautifully — a winding high country road that instantly feels like the start of a fall adventure. The simplicity of the composition lets the landscape tell its own story, with a lovely balance of light and detail that makes the season’s magic shine through.

Jessie takes home a 12-month print subscription to either AP or Capture for winning the free monthly photo comp.

Drew also chose two special mentions, Kees Bastmeijer, for Dancing in the snow and Vita Chien, for Floating Through the Season.

Over on Facebook, voting in the People's choice was furious as usual, with Craig Baldwin's image, Autumn Fishing taking out the win with 153 votes at competition close in early September.

Craig bags himself a 12-month digital subscription to AP or Capture magazine.
