Adobe has revealed details of new updates for its Creative Cloud and Marketing Cloud software systems.

New features coming to Adobe Creative Cloud include tools for video editing, motion graphics/VFX, and audio. Adobe says its latest updates offer advancements in Virtual Reality (VR), 3D, motion graphics and character animation supported by tools for monetising TV and film content across multiple screens.

Adobe has also come up with a 3D rendering engine it says increases the pace and efficiency of 3D content generation. Artists can also create editable 3D elements such as text and shape layers from within After Effects CC with new Cinerender technology from MAXON.

Adobe’s popular live motion-capture tool, Character Animator gets a boost via integrated round-trip functionality between Adobe Photoshop CC and Adobe Illustrator CC.
