Western Digital boosts capacity of G-Raid and G-Drive NAS systems

Western Digital (WD) has introduced a series of new high-capacity hard drives across its G-RAID / G-DRIVE Professional product lines.

According to the company, these updates aim to give creative professionals and businesses more reliable space for storing, editing, and backing up large files.

At a glance

G-RAID SHUTTLE 8 (208TB, AUD $15,999) – A portable, eight-drive system built for large video projects and studio backups. Offers fast transfer speeds and supports multiple RAID configurations.
G-RAID SHUTTLE 4 (104TB, AUD $9,999) – A smaller, four-drive version ideal for 4K/8K editing, with high-speed performance and RAID flexibility.
G-RAID PROJECT 2 (52TB, AUD $3,849) – Dual-drive desktop storage designed for high-speed file transfers, compatible with Thunderbolt 3 and USB-C.
G-DRIVE PROJECT (26TB, AUD $1,999) – Reliable backup drive with modular SSD support for faster file access and sharing.
