TTArtisan expands X-Mount offerings with AF 14mm f/3.5, 23mm f/1.8 & new retro flash
TTArtisan has launched a new compact wide-angle prime lens for Fujifilm's X-Mount, the AF 14mm f/3.5.
The 21mm equivalent on full-frame lens weighs just 98 g and is approximately 31–36 mm long.
Internally, the lens is made of 8 elements in 7 groups—this includes 1 high-index, 2 ED, and 2 aspherical elements, and a 7-blade diaphragm.
The lens' autofocus is powered by a stepper motor (STM), which should provide fast, quiet autofocus. In addition, the AF supports Fujifilm face, eye, animal, and even car detection on compatible bodies.
The lens features a clicked aperture ring, a minimum focus distance of 25cm and a sturdy metal body.
It comes with a lens hood and rear cap with a USB-C port for firmware upgrade support. The RRP is $239.
At the same time, the company has also announced the TTArtisan AF 23mm f/1.8 for E-mount, along with C-Mount and Nikon Z. It has an RRP of $249.
Finally, alongside the new glass, TTArtisan has also released a new retro-styled compact on-camera flash designed for everyday photography.
Featuring a film-style housing, the flash mounts directly to a camera’s hot shoe and has a minimal, lightweight design.
It offers a guide number of 12 (GN12), with four selectable power levels, making it suitable for fill lighting in portraits or creative setups. A built-in rechargeable battery provides up to 800 flashes per charge, depending on usage and power settings.
The flash is also compatible with the TTArtisan J01 wireless trigger, allowing users to control the flash remotely as part of a simple off-camera system.
The M01 flash and J01 trigger are sold separately or as a bundle, with prices for the flash listed at $29 USD ($45 AUD), and the trigger $10 USD ($15), or as a bundle for $39 ($59).
