Fujifilm has announced a new addition to its growing line-up of instant-film cameras. The instax mini 12 follows the popular mini 11 and includes improved close-up, selfie and auto exposure features.

“After the incredible success of the mini 11 with over half a million units sold locally, we are excited to bring Australians an evolution of the much-loved instax instant camera with more features than ever before,” said Mary Georgievski, General Manager, Photo Imaging at Fujifilm Australia.

The release of the mini 12 coincides with the launch of the instax UP! app which lets you scan your instax prints with a smartphone and save them as digital images. The app removes reflections and maintains the unique look of the prints with the instax film frame. You can also upload your favourite images directly to social media from within the app.

The Fujifilm instax mini 12 comes in six colours (Lilac Purple, Pastel Blue, Blossom Pink, Mint Green and Clay White) and will be available from 6 April 2023 with a recommended retail price of $119.
