Fujifilm launches compact GF50mmF3.5 R LM WR lens

Fujifilm has announced the 10th lens for the company's GFX series of cameras, the FUJINON GF50mmF3.5 R LM WR.

The new lens is the smallest and lightest (335g) GF lens, and has a maximum aperture of 3.5 and focal length of 50mm. When attached to the GFX 50R, the combination weighs just 1,110g, making it the lightest GFX kit combination available.

The lens consists of 9 elements in 6 groups, including one aspherical lens element to help minimise spherical aberration and distortion. A linear motor should help with accurate and quiet autofocus. 

The GF50mmF3.5 R LM WR has additional seals, making it dust and weather resistant down to -10°C.
