The new model retains the same basic design and features as its predecessor, with only minor updates, including a soft, sculpted body and a metallic silver logo on the front.

The mini 13 adds dual self-timers (2- and 10-second options) for hands-free selfies or group shots, alongside features carried over from the mini 12, such as Close-Up Mode, Selfie Mirror, Auto Exposure adjustment, and Parallax Correction.

At the same time, Fujifilm has also updated the instax UP! Smartphone app, improving image scanning with AI, and is introducing a new Pastel Galaxy instant film with a cosmic-inspired design.
