DJI announce the Osmo Pocket: a compact three-axis stabilised camera

DJI have announced the Osmo Pocket, a compact three-axis stabilised camera with a 1/2.3-inch sensor that records 12-megapixel photographs and 4K video up to 60fps at 100Mbps, along with a number of accessories to improve the video capture experience. 

On the back of the Osmo Pocket is a 1-inch live view touchscreen and interface for adjusting settings and reviewing images, and a universal port under the touchscreen allows users to connect their mobile devices that via iOS Lightning or USB-C. 

This opens up a number of features, including Story Mode an editing tool, and Pro Mode for more advanced camera setting adjustments, including automatic detection and illumination of low-lit scenes. This helps eliminates the need for a tripod, relying on the gimbal to keep the camera still for a shutter speed of up to three seconds. 

A number of accessories for the Osmo Pocket have also been announced, including an Accessory Mount, Wireless Module, Controller Wheel, ND Filters Set, Waterproof Case, Extension Rod, Charging Case and a 3.5mm adapter.
