Canon announces six new RF lenses are coming this year

Canon has announced six new full-frame lenses under development. Set for release this year, the new additions will take the total number of RF mount lenses available to 10 by year-end, a clear indication that Canon see the new full frame mirrorless mount as an important part of the company's future.

The six full-frame RF lenses are the RF 85mm F1.2L USM, RF 85mm F1.2L USM DS with Defocus Smoothing for improved bokeh, RF 24-70mm F2.8L IS USM, RF 15-35mm F2.8L IS USM, RF 70-200mm F2.8L IS USM, and RF 24-240mm F4-6.3 IS USM.
