Jason Freeman, The Silo Art Trail (Travel 2017)

A series of disused wheat silos have been given new life in central Victoria. In an initiative to promote tourism to dwindling populations in rural areas, the Yarrambiack Shire commissioned artists from as far away as Russia to find locals and immortalise them in paint. From farmers to aboriginal elders and the future generation, a broad spectrum of subjects were chosen by the artists. Long exposures and light painting techniques have been used to portray the passing of time.
