Stephanie Bond, Scarlett Macaw Taking Off (Single Shot 2018)

While sitting in silence for 2 hours at a clay lick in the amazon rainforest, this Scarlett Macaw took off from a cave in shade and exploded out into the sunlight. To me the colouring and motion in the wings looks a bit like a phoenix.
