Floyd Mallon, Japanese Snow Monkeys (Junior 2017)

The Japanese Snow Monkeys (Japanese Macaques) have always interested me, so when I had the opportunity to visit them on a school trip to Japan, I was very excited. I felt that I was able to capture the true nature of these incredible creatures in the 4 photos I have entered. The monkey's eyes were the main focal point in these images, the deep oranges contrast and stand out from the murky water and subdued colours.
