Zenit rumoured to rebrand Leica SL for own full frame mirrorless camera
Zenit has caused waves of excitement after announcing a return to the photography game in 2018. They’ve recently revealed that they’re working on a full frame mirrorless camera that rivals Leica’s own.
But recent rumours emerging from Zenit’s KMZ factory and USSRPhoto reveal that the new Zenit product might actually be a rebranded Leica SL at it's core.
The KMZ factory works on mechanics and optics and not electronics, which is outsourced from other firms.
If these rumours are true, it would mean that the upcoming Zenit product would be around the $8300 Leica SL mark.
