Video: How does the iPhone 8 slo-mo compare to a $30,000 RED camera?

With up to 240fps at 1080p, there’s no denying the new iPhone 8’s specs are impressive, and DXO Mark are calling it the best smartphone camera yet.

YouTuber Jonathan Morrison has set out to test the capabilities of Apple’s newest gadget with a video comparing it to a $30,000 RED Epic W.

While smooth and not as bulky as the RED camera, Jonathan suggests that the iPhone’s image quality isn’t as satisfying. However the iPhone’s slo-mo capabilities are better than the RED’s as the iPhone doesn’t crop out the sensor.
