Hi Tim,

There are a lot of things that can be disconcerting to people and one of those things is simply having an animal, in this case a cow, stick its face within inches of your face. In this instance the whole experience is accentuated by the use of an extremely wide-angle lens. In itself, the dramatic perspective and the bright colours make for an interesting photograph.

There is another element that is disconcerting though, and that is the rather askew horizon line.

I can cope with one disconcerting element, but two? If this were my image, I would be inclined to go back to the original file and get the horizon line straight.

In the image below I have straightened the horizon line but to do this I needed a little bit of space in the lower right-hand corner. All you need to do when you do this, is fake in a little extra grass into that corner using the clone tool.

Otherwise, I really like this image. Good effort.

Cheers,

Anthony
