Mint has announced its new InstantFlex TL70 twins lens reflex (TLR) instant camera has undergone a significant upgrade.

According to Mint, the camera now features a significantly upgraded viewfinder, the result of a visit to the Rolleiflex factory in Germany. The viewfinder now boasts a Fresnel anti-glare coating claimed to be five times brighter than the original.

As well, the new 32 per cent larger magnifier on the InstantFlex TL70 2.0 is designed to offer faster and more accurate focusing even in low light.

Other features of the updated TL70 include a three element lens, five leaf shutter design, and a minimum focusing distance of 48cm. The TL70 2.0 is also equipped with a built-in flash, the only TLR camera with such a feature.

The camera uses instant mini film 54mm (w) x 86mm (h) and is equipped with a B Mode setting for shooting long exposures.

Mint has also designed a Lens Set kit for the camera which includes three neutral density filters (ND2, ND4, ND8), a close-up lens, and a lens hood.

The MiNT InstantFlex TL70 2.0 camera is now available from www.polaroid.com.au for RRP $599.95. The TL70 Lens Set is $169.95 RRP.
