Julia Howe, Queenstown (January theme: Reflections)

Taken as a 7 minute exposure, this image reflects an experience as well as the landscape. It was such a till light, one where the stars reflection on the water was visible to the naked eye. As I was taking the photo I took the time to lie back on the bank and take in the stars...a night I will never forget.
