Jaime Clarke, Eiffel Burning (Junior 2019)

This image captures the Eiffel tower as France hit its highest recorded temperature - 45.9C (114.6F). Paris opened extra swimming pools, set up mist machines, and postponed thousands of school exams ahead of a killer heat wave looming over Europe.
