Ken Griffiths signed up for the trip of a lifetime, to photograph the unique wildlife of the Galapagos Islands. He tells how he did it, and how other photographers can tackle the challenge.
After a life-long fascination with the Galapagos Islands, last year I decided to set out on the trip of a lifetime to this unique territory in the eastern Pacific. When I was growing up I watched lots of documentaries and read many books about these amazing islands.
Their pristine scenery, the approachable wildlife and the diversity and uniqueness of the islands’ species fascinated me.
