To mark its 60th anniversary Tamron has launched the 18-270mm f/3.5-6.3 Di II VC PZD, the world’s lightest, smallest 15x zoom lens and the first to feature PZD autofocus.
The lens features VC (Vibration Compensation) image stabilisation and Tamron’s first standing wave ultrasonic motor system for SLR lenses, PZD (Piezo Drive).
The lens is available for Canon and Nikon cameras with APS-C sized sensors. A Sony-compatible mount is expected to be available soon.
