Lensbaby has added the Sweet 35, a 35mm selective focus optic with an internal 12-blade adjustable aperture, to its lens system.
The Sweet 35 boasts the widest focal length of any selective focus Lensbaby optic and can be used with a range of Lensbaby products including the Composer, Muse, Control Freak and Scout lenses.
Departing from its interchangeable magnetic aperture system, the Sweet 35 is the first optic in the Lensbaby system with an adjustable aperture. By rotating the dial on the front of the Sweet 35, photographers can change the aperture from f/2.5 through f/22.
The aperture opening controls the size of the area of sharp focus.
