Nikon is set to release a new all-purpose lens for its DX range of DSLR cameras, the AF-S DX NIKKOR 18-140mm f/3.5-5.6G ED VR. Scheduled for release in September, the 7.8x zoom lens covers a focal length range equivalent to 27-210mm in 35mm terms.
The lens is 97mm long, weighs 490g and features VR image stabilisation to minimise the effects of camera shake.
