graham earnshaw, The Kimberley (Travel 2017)

Last month I was very lucky to be able to spend a week and a half travelling around the lower section of the Kimberleys in the north of WA, around Broome, the Dampier Peninsula and across to Derby and Fitzroy Crossing. It is a stunning part of our beautiful country, the coastline dominated by the pindan red cliffs and clear blue waters of the Indian Ocean. Then the wonderful isolation going inland, with the landscape dominated by the unique Boab tree and stunning national parks like Windjana, Tunnel Creek and Geikie. The 4 images are of famous Cable Beach camels in Broome (at sunset), a beautiful lone Boab under wonderful fanned clouds (on the road between Derby and FC), the eerie calm waters of King Sounds and an aerial overlooking Roebuck bay (Broome).
