Paolo Randazzo, Elements of Construction (Black and White 2017)

This portfolio is part of a series of photographs taken on a commercial construction project in Palmerston NT. The images show elements of the structure and equipment used to put a building together that are rarely seen by the users of the finished product. 1. Raw precast panels reaching up to the sky before any finishing treatment is applied. 2. Scaffolding tower supporting a concrete slab through a double height void whilst the concrete cures over the basement ramp. 3. Scaffolding props stacked in a rack over water that has made its way into the structure from a wet season storm. 4. Column formwork ready for a concrete pour.

Images have been resized for web display, which may cause some loss of image quality. Note: Original high-resolution images are used for judging.
