Seth Lazar, Brayshaw's Hut (June theme: Night light)

Brayshaw's hut in Namadgi National Park, built in 1903 before Canberra was even officially founded. Its remote location means no light pollution, so it's a great place to watch the galactic core rise, and catch some intense airglow—both bright green over the horizon, and some red in the middle of the frame. This shot was a race against time, as a freezing fog slowly gathered around me (and on the lens).
