VSCO will be retiring its desktop presets from early next year

VSCO's transition to a purely mobile company is almost complete, with its popular presets to be discontinued for desktop from March 1, 2019.

VSCO first launched in 2012, offering a number of classic film emulation presets for use in Lightroom and other editing software. A mobile app quickly followed, and VSCO has continued to offer both desktop and mobile products since then.

However that is all set to change, with the company announcing on its website that the desktop side of the business will close. Existing users will continue to pay the $19.95 annual fee to get access to their latest subscription service, VSCO X, mobile presets and editing tools.

VSCO's desktop presets remain available for purchase for now. There's eight available, and they cost $59.95USD each.
