This hotel chain has a social media 'sitter' who will post for you

From the 'people are taking Instagram way to seriously' file comes news that Ibis Hotels in Switzerland are offering a 'social media sitter', who will manage your Instagram while you're on holidays.

According to the fetchingly-titled Relax We Post website, 'Instagram professionals will provide the best posts on your profile. And you enjoy the city without a smartphone in front of the face.'

Currently the social media sitters arec only available in Geneva and Zurich and the service starts at US$79 (AUD $110). All posts made by the sitters are tagged #postedbysocialmediasitter on Instagram.

Of course if hiring a dedicated professional to manage your social media while you relax is a little outside your budget, there's an alternative – leave your phone at home.
