This Astronaut’s photo of Uluru is out of this world
Astronaut Thomas Pesquet has captured something beautiful. Hovering over our Earth, the French astronaut has managed to photograph Uluru from a totally new perspective.
With the sun going down Pesquet caught the Northern Territory’s landmark being highlighted by the afternoon sun - a shot he declares was purely luck.
“Not easy to spot from the International Space Station, but as the Sun went down, we got lucky!”
Since its upload on Facebook the photo has been liked over 100,000 times and been shared over 17,000 times.
Pesquet has taken other cosmically cool photos as he spins around the Earth. You can catch Pesquet’s Facebook page here.
