Datacolor has released a new colour calibration and white balance target to help photographers and videographers obtain consistently accurate color. The Spydercheckr 24 includes 24 pigment patches in a thin, compact folder. A grey face provides in-camera and post-process white balance and exposure adjustment, while the colour face lets users colour correct capture automatically in post-production using Adobe Photoshop ACR, Adobe Lightroom, Hasselblad Phocus or Blackmagic DaVinci Resolve.

"The biggest advantage of the system is that camera calibration is not limited to RAW files but can also be applied to JPEGs and video too," said Datacolor ambassador and pro photographer Lee Varis.

The Spydercheckr 24 retails for $65 and is available from Kayell Australia and most photo retailers.
