New exhibition shines a light on Australian creatives

Comments Comments

Keren Dobia, 2017 AIPP Australian Photographer of the Year and 2018 Photographer of the Year judge, is exhibiting a series of 15 large scale striking portraits of Australian creatives at Melbourne gallery fortyfivedownstairs from next week.

The series, I AM, is her first solo exhibition and the product of more than 18 months' work.

Keren’s "more is more" approach reveals much about each of the diverse group of featured Australian artists, and observers cannot help but be captured by the colour palettes and extraordinary detail which is captured in camera rather than worked in postproduction.

"I'm looking forward to seeing the images come to life in such a large printed format, that will allow people to really appreciate the hidden detail," Keren says.

You can find out more information about the exhibition, which runs from November 20 to December 1st, here.
