Adobe today announced its Creative Cloud 2014 service with 14 updated versions of its desktop applications including Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver and Premier. It also includes Adobe’s new suite of mobile apps — Adobe Line, Adobe Sketch and Photoshop Mix.

For the first time, Adobe will also release hardware later this year, designed specifically for use with a tablet. Adobe Ink is a pressure-sensitive stylus for illustration while Adobe Slide is a 'ruler' that allows users to draw straight lines, circles and other shapes.

Paul Robson, President of Adobe Asia Pacific, says that CC 2014 “delivers workflow improvements that let users focus on creativity, a range of new mobile apps and a host of tightly integrated Cloud services that allow creatives to extend their desktop workflows to unlock professional grade creativity on mobile."

The CC 2014 photography subscription includes the latest versions of Photoshop CC and Lightroom, with Creative Cloud integration with Adobe’s mobile apps — Lightroom Mobile and Photoshop Mix. It also includes 2GB of cloud storage.

Existing members can download Creative Cloud 2014 for free. The Photography subscription for new members is $A9.99 per month with annual commitment and institutional affiliation.
