The winner of our Christmas photo competition is Kathryn Archibald.
"We received plenty of images for this competition, but what I liked about Kathryn’s image, 'Xmas Down Under', was the humour," said guest judge Anthony McKee. "Most of us know that adults often enjoy Christmas as much as the children, and a few have been known to enjoy an extra drink or two and end up in awkward situations. Kathryn's composite photograph is a humorous if not cautionary reminder that we should be careful as we have fun over the holidays. We are uncertain if this is Kathryn’s husband, and if she actually rescued this man after this photograph was taken, but we hope they are both enjoying a wonderful New Year!"
This month's People's Choice winner, with more than 170 Facebook likes, was Mandy Kidd's nostalgic image, "Christmas Back Then". Well done Mandy!
