Australia's Top Emerging Photographers sets out to uncover the next big stars of photography. The annual photo competition, which offers a prize pool valued at $15,000, is open to Australian and New Zealand amateur and professional photographers with less than four years’ professional photography experience.

Australia's Top Emerging Photographers, now in its eighth year, is open for 'early bird' entries until February 12, 2016. The competition, which sets out to uncover the next generation of talented photographers offers a prize pool valued at $15,000.

Entrants can submit a portfolio of images in any of nine categories: Architecture, Art, Editorial/Fasion, Landscape, Documentary/Photojournalism, Portrait, Sport, Wedding and Student.

The total prize pool for the competition is valued at more than $15,000, including a cash prize of $5,000 to the overall winner. The overall winner, Australia’s Top Emerging Photographer, will also receive a Fujifilm X-T1 camera and XF 18-135mm lens, valued at $2,599. Category winners will share in a prize pool of over $7,000, including a cash prize of $500 per category winner. Prizes have been provided by our wonderful sponsors, and include: EIZO, CATC, Fujifilm, Goal Zero, Momento Pro, National Portrait Gallery, Sally Brownbill and Sunstudios.
